Join us at the Hirut Jazz Cafe (2050 Danforth Avenue, Toronto) for an inspiring literary afternoon, at this month’s Voices of Freedom reading series.
Following the publishing of “The Uncaged Voice”, the Writers in Exile’s collective anthology, this free event will immerse you in the powerful narratives and diverse voices that make up the extraordinary collection. Four of the writers, all of who have faced exile, will share stories and perspectives that resonate across borders.
Featuring stories from Bushra Elfadil, Kiran Nazish, Alexander Duarte and Luis Horacio Najera.
Bring your copy of “The Uncaged Voice” for a chance to have it signed by the authors themselves.
No RSVP is required. This event is free to attend. For more information and inquiries, please reach out to Gezahegn Mekonnen Demissie at gezishysso@gmail.com.
