Kurdish-Iranian journalist, Behrouz Boochani is the author of No Friend But the Mountains, a memoir and prison narrative of his six years in a refugee detention camp on Manus Island. The book was written and sent out via WhatsApp to Omid Tofighian, who translated the texts from Farsi into English. The students of LM 8941 will be interviewing Boochani and Tofighian on Skype about the process of writing and translating this award-winning book.
